Horse Owners

Protect Your Financial Investment

We provide valuations for most breeds and disciplines.  You can count on us for a comprehensive appraisal based on due diligence, sound judgement, ethical business practices and accountability.

Our work within the business and professional sector has often been done to resolve problems or settle affairs.  We have seen first hand that if owners had been more proactive in protecting their investment some of their problems could have been avoided.  These are insights that might be helpful to you.

A professional appraisal done by a qualified expert in the equine field is vital to all horse owners. Unexpected situations may occur that require you to prove the value of your horse.  For example, you certainly do not want to be under-insured in a situation where mortality, major medical, surgical and loss of use occurs.  This could result in significant financial loss for you.

In fact we highly recommend that you obtain a professional appraisal prior to obtaining replacement value insurance on your valuable equine livestock.  Read more.

As dictated by the intended use of any appraisal, determined values may include Fair Market Value, Replacement Value, Wholesale Value, Liquidation Value, and Consignment Value, and Cull Value.

All evaluations result from meticulous research, a thorough examination of the horse, its conformation, gait, bloodline, performance  records and where necessary may utilize veterinary exams and statements from trainers or other experts.

All details are compiled into a comprehensive formal report with any additional data that supports the conclusions and valuation.

All appraisals are confidential.

If you would like to discuss how we might be able to help you  please phone or email your questions or concerns.  It will save time to include your phone number, because we do prefer telephone communications.

Ensure an Appraisal Serves Your Current Needs

Please be advised that conducting your own research and analysis may not be acceptable for your intended purpose.  Only a written report prepared by a qualified, accredited, or certified professional appraiser may serve as a legal document or be accepted by lending institutions or insurance underwriters.

We recommend that you do not use one appraisal for more than one dissimilar purposes.  For example an appraisal prepared for a bankruptcy trustee is entirely inappropriate for use in determining replacement value of an equine for insurance purposes.

Don't Take Unnecessary Risk

It simply make good business sense to protect your financial investment.

Please remember that appraisal values are time sensitive.  Economic conditions and trends in the horse industry do change and an appraisal value may increase or decrease significantly in a short period of time or be affected by a change in locations.

As personal circumstances change, business environments evolve, equine achievements accumulate,  your equine investment could be in fluctuation.  You may be exposing yourself to unnecessary risk by not having a current equine evaluation of your livestock.
